What began in 1794 as a small college in the Southwest Territory has grown into Tennessee’s flagship university and premier public research institution.
The University of Tennessee’s Department of Earth, Environment and Planetary Sciences, located in Strong Hall at 1621 Cumberland Avenue, mission is to:
Empower students with the critical knowledge and skills for life-long learning and enriching careers
Advance the frontiers of scientific knowledge in the Earth, Environmental, and Planetary Sciences and related fields
Benefit all Tennesseans and the world through our service and collaboration with university, government, and industry partners
Strong Hall was recently renovated and will be a fantastic venue for the event.
